Ustka for the weekend - a 2-day plan of what to do and see 2026
A complete weekend itinerary in Ustka: the lighthouse, the port and revolving footbridge, the old fishing village, the beach, the pier, and the Blücher Battery. What to see in two days by the sea.
Got a weekend in Ustka and want to make the most of it? Here's a tried-and-true two-day itinerary that combines the best of Ustka—the port, the lighthouse, the beach, and a bit of history—without the rush and stress.
Day 1 - The port, the lighthouse and the old fishing village
Start at the port at the mouth of the Słupia River and the revolving footbridge —if you time it right, you'll see it letting in cutters and yachts. Right next to it, climb the lighthouse for a panoramic view of the port and coastline. Then stroll through the old fishing settlement on Kosynierów Street—the historic half-timbered houses are the most atmospheric corner of the city. Evening: Fish dinner on the promenade and sunset over the Baltic Sea.
Day 2 - Beach, Pier and Blücher Battery
In the morning, the beach and pier —the east side is closer to the center, the west side is quieter. In the afternoon, if you prefer something other than lying on the sand, head to the Blücher Battery —German World War II bunkers hidden in the coastal forest west of the city. It's an attraction you won't find in most resorts.
When there is time left
- Boat trip from the port - a short trip on the Baltic Sea.
- Cycle along the coast on the Velo Baltica route.
- Spa - graduation tower and sea microclimate if you want to catch your breath.
- A trip to the Słowiński National Park (shifting sand dunes) — the Trenches are nearby.
